Give it it's proper name - racism, born out of fear of anything different that the egotistical white man has shown in the past. When white man discovered the existence of black people he tried, for over 400 years to keep black people down as slaves. Who is the more advenced - western society with consumerism, healthcare, transport, bills, stress, cancer, heart disease or so called developing areas of Earth where indigenous people survive as they have doen for centuries. After only a few centuries of white man going global and Steven Hawking is right - chances are we won't last another 100 years.
Look how far we've come???
I say to western society look how far you've GONE!!!
How right it is that these white trash youths actually have to imitate their black counterparts, and like the girl in this years big brother... it just doesn't sound right at all.
Anyway it's not the sharing of language that causes trouble - it is and always will be people's inability to accept others when they are different - see it elsewhere under class, age, sex and position.

I think your answer is biased because you only have a view of one small portion of the world community upon which to base you opinion. In order to make a statement like you have just made you would need to know the facts of a much larger representative group of young people. This is because where it is true that some young people do follow trends such as you have just described not every young person that lives in every area of the world community would follow this trend, however, I do see the point that you were trying to make and as a general answer to your question. They do this because it is the current trend or fad/developmental phase that those young people who live in your particular community are currently going through

you see we are the best and not only language has the white emulated and mimics and soon will claim hip hop they invented! they fear them and have good reason too!
can you imagine what would happen once one of those black children here them sounding like them all **** would break out so the white gentlemen are keeping the love for Ebonics a white boy secret!
and to correct you there is no way a white child could sound like a black child you see soul is involved in the language which they speak and the white can not totally nor completely imitate this!

That's because there parents haven't taught them any better. Its a shame really. I hope that about the time my kids are older they wont have to go through some of the things that I had too. Now don't get me wrong it doesn't compare to some of the things my father had too, but unfortunately racism still exists. I don't know why some people carry such hatred in there hearts. It take more energy to hate someone then to like them. But i would say don't worry about them, just dont be like them. Frankly my dear they just dont know any better!

Nothing changes does it, even though the government media want to paint a pc multi cultural rosy image of racial tolerance and we're all living in happy bunny land.
Theres alot of wiggers, wannabe ghetto wanksters. White boys who listen to too much gangster rap.
Theres nothing more unattractive on a man than drop down jeans, showing billowing bundies, and basketball shirt combo, topped with an awful trucker's cap. Black or white. Especially if accompanied by a vicious staff, rottie, or ugly pit bull.
As for fighting one race against another, Its all to do with the type of prejudice taught from home, and picked up from peers.

So then you definitely would desire to truthfully agree that as quickly as black adolescents do no longer dream of one day transforming into an NBA participant or a rap celeb and unquestionably gain academic success, they at the instant are not "appearing white". I study a e book written by utilising a black sociologist that grew up in i think of Queens and he consistently have been given picked on by utilising his black friends for "appearing white" because of the fact he enjoyed reading and different academic hobbies. i locate that very unhappy. I truthfully wish that doesn't usually happen anymore. i think of the two one in all those labels are unfavourable because of the fact it nonetheless serves to concentration on the (basically approximately completely arbitrary or perhaps ficticious) "ameliorations" between the races and perpetuates those crap stereotypes. You raised an marvelous element and that i commend you for that.

exactly... the problem here is not white kids talking like black kids... you have a whole other group of people on your hands now and they are called CHAVS baby!
When I was at school there were tons of them (although back then we called them pikeys and travellers) its not that they spoke like black people at all, they used street slang like everyone keeps saying.
An urban way of speaking - although God forbid I dont know where they came up with it since I grew up in middle class suburbia.
But they didnt like the few black kids that were around and the black kids didnt like them
there was a lot of racism and a lot of fights
Chavs arent trying to be black... they're trying to be chavs

Sometimes it's the black influence that causes unintentional immitation. Also when one lives in an area long enough and hears that area's dialect...even Yankees slow their speech and sound more like Southerners. Many British rock groups like the Animals sounded black because their heros like Leadbelly were black and groups listened to them on vinyl records and played instruments like them for hours on end to "get it right". But they meant no disrespect. People use ebonics and slang to try to fit in... sometimes they do like Emiem and sometimes they don't quite fit in like Vanilla Ice.
