I am considering buying another game system to complement my Xbox?

i have an Xbox, but im want to open my game choices up more. im not quite ready to fork over $60 a game for a $300 Xbox 360, so im looking at the PS2 and the Gamecube. i know the PS2 has superior graphics and a wider game choice, but it costs more. the Gamecube's only selling feature would be its low price. so im wondering which one should i buy?

PS2. I have both of them and PS2 destroys the Gamecube. 'Cept for Super Smash Bros. Melee, that's where the Gamecube just pwns everything.

Now when the Wii comes out and the PS3 comes out, the Wii will absolutly pwn the PS3. But as of now, PS2>Gamecube.

If you wait til november, Nintendo is coming out with the Wii, which is an interactive (meaning you actually move around the controller in the direction you want to go) system. It'll be $250 at its release date (as opposed to the $400 PS3), but the games will cost about $50 each. You can, though, look forward to the new Super Smash Bros. game (called SSB Brawl) and Super Mario Galaxy, the next game in the mario series. There are tons of other games like Zelda: The Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, etc. etc. but overall it looks like aan awesome deal.

Well, if you are not interested in Nintendo's exclusive titles like Mario, and Zelda, then there is probably no point to getting the Gamecube. The PS2 is a bit more, so you will have to save a bit more, but it has a huge amount of titles. After all, it is the most popular system out there.

Well im a nintendo fan, and i dont have much money. So obviously i vouch for nintendo, and would suggest you wait for the wii, which is gonna be awesome at a beautiful price.

It is the dream of many gamers to shoot get some serious halo action while shooting at your TV, Making you arm go crazy over some awsesome move in super smash bros, or get that fantasy dream mmorpg where you go around with sleek armor and an ultimate weapon and feeling like ur actually doing wat ur seeing.

Yet no gamer is hardcore without at least one of either PS2 or Xbox. Xbox, and Xbox 360, for the richer, more action-only gamers. And the PS2, and 3, for people that want a fair amount of action as well as other genres. The PS3 is gonna cost way too much.

So here are your choices, in my opinion...

1.Willing to wait a few months, not too much money, wide variety of games, not as action-centered all the time, but with cool remote with awesome interaction: Wii

2.Same as 1, but dont wanna wait, pay even less, not as good quality as wii, no remote: Gamecube

3.Want a fair bit of action, adventure, and yet also want other less action, more party, different genre type games, costs a bit higher: PS2

4.Great Graphics, real pricey, Halo 3, other brand names, lots of action-centered games, has hardware additions that increase price by hundreds: Xbox 360

5.Probably the best graphics yet, Definitely highest priced, willing to wait quite a time, great variety of games: PS3

So basically, factors are money, waiting time, graphics, type of game
(personally im picking the wii, but thats me, and im not too rich so i cant buy too much)
