I've really been breaking out more often than I normally do and I'm 4 months pregnant now. None of the fash washes I try work at all and I know there's a limited choice of medications that I could take to help it ... suggestions?

I know that's frustrating..it's a terrible 'side effect' of pregnancy. Try Yardley soap. It comes in a bar and you can find it just about anywhere. The good news is...it will probably go away once you have the baby. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

Unfortunately, you just need to deal with it, and keep washing your face with good stuff. Those pregnancy hormones can do a number on your face. With my first child, I got zits in spots on my face that I had NEVER had them before and they didn't go away until after delivery.

Sorry, I know it's not the answer you wanted, but at least you'll have a wonderful baby to take home at the end of all this pregnancy nonsense!

Some women's skin glows when they're pregnant, and some women have to deal with acne. It's got more to do with the hormonal changes going on in your body. Make sure you always wash off all makeup every night. Drink lots of water.

Well,. find out first if the medications wont harm your baby. My suggestion would be watch what you eat. maybe you have been eating more fatty foods, greasier....or something. Is there something in particular u have been eating more of? That might be was causing you to break out. OR MAYBE, it's just your hormones. Our body's change during pregnancy. good luck!!

Quit using face wash period that's designed for acne, use oil of olay daily facial and spend lots of time out in the sun. This also works if you end up getting pregnancy hives later in your 2nd trimester.

I had the same thing during the beginning of my pregnancy. I just kept washing my face alot and kept trying different things. I got a liquid face cleaner and that worked great for me.

that's wide-spread on your epidermis to alter like that in the time of being pregnant. while you're pregnant, the medicated face washes and ointments are not risk-free for the toddler so talk on your medical expert approximately what they approve. Plus it relies upon...is your epidermis extra oily or extra dry? If its oily you do not desire to apply a moisturizer. if so you need to discover out in case you need to use some thing antibacterial consisting of dial cleansing soap. in case you do want extra moisture on your face, my well-known form is Aveeno. superb of luck!

You don't want to spend too much time out in the sun though bc now that you are pregnant you burn easier.
