Theyre both German, so neither, but the benz is still much nicer

Get the CLK, it is way more luxourious vs. the BMW 3 series which reminds me of a Toyota or Saab. If you can, move up the the CLK 500 as you will appreciate the 8 cylinder for added power and more sporty ground effects package. If you can not afford the difference in a 2004, I would recommend stepping back to a 2003 and getting the 8 cylinder (which I believe was a 430 for that model year).

A 330Ci, why? Because Mercedes Benz is terrible, cheap American made trash. Why is it terrible cheap American made trash? Because unfortunately DaimlerChrysler cut down the building quality of Mercedes Benz long ago. Since 1994 MB thought that their cars were buit too damn good and that they need to cut back a bit. Since then it was all down hill. It hit it's all time low in quality in 2003-2004. Although the BMW may not seem as classy or as sleek as the CLK320 it's more reliable and more fun to drive than the MB. Being the owner of the new E60 M5 and the preious owner of a few BMW's I can tell you that for many years BMW has lived up to their high standards in fine automobiles.

The Mercedes Benz- BMW's break down alot Merc's are more reliable

Probibly the Mercedes.
While performance is equal, the leather interrior is softer and more comfortable in the Mercedes.
The controls are more intuitive in the Mercedes than in the BMW.

I'll say the Benz. it looks better, and i think it's more reliable than the BMW. but I'll have a Skyline or a Cayman S instead...

well first of all, what ever gets better gas mileage and price
B.M.W: 20 mpg city / 30 mpg hwy
Mercedes: dont know..(does not show up on the web)so i would stick w/ the BMW

bmw no doubt- the handling, the "sportiness", and the style all contribute to bmw being ahead in the race
