I do all the time, they are fabulous places, with so much going on, and available to you.
It's not just books anymore, they are a hive of activity, from Computers, Videos, CDs, Story Telling, etc.
So if anyone, hasn't been for a while, I suggest they visit their local library real soon. Its an eye opener.

I have a lifelong habit of library visiting. Sometimes I go when my computer is fine. Even if I cannot read through netlibrary, I can
walk among the stacks or look over things not online like tax forms and extremely new books. When I wait for a computer, I use the catalogue one to access netlibrary for magazine, journal, and book articles. Some have an Email feature that allows you to shoot the article to your home Email desktop or laptop. Librarians have to take courses in Library Science and delight in helping people find materials often overlooked like the Old Book Room, etc. You can even telephone about questions and they will look things up and answer in minutes.

Of course! Our local library has subscriptions to practically every magazine. Although I subscribe to Teen Vogue and Seventeen, there's tons of others I don't get but i can find at the library.

Yes I do go there every weekday. I spent about 10 minutes each visit.

sure, libraries are facinating . I always had trouble concentrating on what I went for because there was so much stuff there.
