I feel .. when I want something too much, it doesn't come true..
but except this I don't believe..

I beleive in superstitions like what you said if you want something too much it dosent come true and if you look at your cards before there all dealed to you you get bad cards and just small superstitions like that. you can never be too carefull.

No, superstitions have no power (knock wood) over the intelligent human. It's been 7 years and 13 days since I broke a mirror and these last two weeks have been great!

Depends on the superstition. If its spilling salt.
nah. I do that all the time and still have good luck.
BUT WALKING UNDER LADDERS! now theres one to watch out for. Besides being flat out dangerous, it brings VERY bad luck.
Same thing with breaking mirrors.

I believe in Murphy's Law and its correlaries. But superstition....well I can't really tell you because that would be bad luck.

As I walked around a ladder, avoiding the cracks in the sidewalk, while bypassing a scary looking black cat, and picked up the broken shards to my mirror, while throwing a little salt over my left shoulder...I pondered your question...and decided that my man Murphy was behind it all...so I guess I don't.
