What is your take on the color coded terror alert system. Does anyone take it seriously. The cable news station seem to getting a kick out of sayign Code Red. Me personally, I fidn the system confusing and pay little attention to it.

After Tom Ridge went on TV and told all Americans to use duct tape and plastic to cover their windows, i pretty much stopped taking the Department of Homeland Insanity seriously.

I find it to be a method of hype and a tool to get people to tune into rhetoric. We should all be aware of what is happening in the world but i don't need a color code to decide my level of fear.
