This worm moves identical to an inchworm that I've seen on trees, except that the body on this one stretches from a tiny ball to a thin line until the "head" grabs a new spot on the surface and then...inches itself forward.
What is this?
I found it cleaning my freshwater aquarium. The size is at most 3/8" long when stretched.
Mucho GrassieAss for any input.

The following image link is similar to appearance...but I don't know if this image will "inch around".

just let it hang out if its cleaning your fish tank and not bothering your fish then nothing is going to happen but if its doing something to your fish then go to your fish store and tell them about it and they will give you something that will kill it without killing your fish
