If you met a really great female and she was missing a tooth, or you knew a really cute guy but found out he had one leg, or you went on a blind date with someone with a cleft pallette. Could you see past their flaws and give them an honest to goodness chance? I have always been very open minded and been rediculed for it by my family and (ex) friends.

Honestly, I would give him a chance because no one can help their physical flaws, everyone has them, wheather or not they're visible, no one is perfect and you shouldn't judge someone by their looks, but by what's in their heart.

I am very open minded and rather see what is in the heart and minds of an individual rather than what the packaging looks like. If I am attracted to the heart and mind nothing else matters.

On a 1 to 10 scale,1 being unshallow and 10 being shallow, I am a 7. I can accept most things except fat and materialism, both of which the person has input on.

Yeah...i really dont mind how some one looks, you got one life to live.
You get what you get.
Even if its the ugliset person in the world you can still become friends if you dont want to become lovers.
Thats one reason we have friend ship.

Honestly, If I wasn't attracted to them physically I would have to get to know their personality to find out if I'm attracted to that. If they aren't pleasant to look at, or talk to then theres no point. Of course, it could also go the other way around.

I would absolutely give them a chance! Who knows what you might miss if you don't try with somebody? I might miss a wonderful friendship or experience with someone. I would certainly look beyond any problems somebody has...nobody's perfect, anyway.
