i mean, they all have sons that are musicians. why not?

It'd be a let down. It is better to allow people to make their own way in life rather than have them try to compete with a legacy. There would be too much pressure on them, and to be honest, James McCartney and Julian/Sean Lennon would most likely not come up with songs anything near as good as their fathers.

Their talents lie in other directions.

It might be interesting, and I heard that Dhani is starting a band btw...

I don't think it would go down well with the fans though. People might think they were trying to be better than the Beatles or something.

I don't know. I've heard stuff from Julian Lennon and he is great. But, nobody can be like The Beatles they were the best.

Why would you assume they have any talent? They have all the opportunities, connections, and probably don't have to get jobs. So if any of them had real talent (Julian Lennon included), I'm sure we would already know about it. I sure as heck wouldn't pay money to see a crappy band that's living off of their dads' fame and fortune.

saltwater was good - julian lennon is more influenced by yoko ono i think imo
