Probably not, but it's an interesting scenario.
I wonder if it would be at all possible for them to commit mass murder by doing something exactly like what you suggest?
What if they sent a few of their followers on planes infected with something akin to Ebola or something similar?
A very scary thing to think about actually

This question is a no brainer.
What is the intended purpose for sending people with infected deadly disease on plane?
If the intention is to bring the plane down, no disease is virulent enough and has an incubation period short enough to kill the pilot during the time span of the flight.
If the intention is to infect the population of that flight, what's the point of carrying that out on a plane? You can pick anything-movie theater, bus, you name it.
