I'm a conservative, if you haven't figured it out by now...

Funny how the liberals that have answered are saying that they can't make a change because all the consersvatives are in power of the entire government...

maybe liberals need to open their eyes...conservatives are in power because we're f'n RIGHT! PROUD TO BE A CONSERVATIVE! WOOT!

oh, and believe me, every argument i have had with a liberal has ended in the liberal giving up and saying, "i dont feel like arguing about this right now"

maybe thats because you are all such f'n pussy's...which may be the same reason you aren't in charge of such a kickas5 country like the USA. Maybe you should all move to France and piss and moan like them...you seem to LOVE france! GO THERE AND GET THE F**K OUT OF THIS COUNTRY! DANG!!

'The 1st World has taught entitlement too long. There is no appreciation from those entitled.

As The energy crisis collides with the baby-boomers retirement bill, there will be no funds available for any other liberal agenda. Expect the economy of 1850 by the year 2050 if we don't find an economically viable replacement for fossil fuels.

Both parties today are more liberal the the Dems' patron Saint JFK. Judge for your self based on his inaugural address. Ask not what your country can do for you ask what you can do for your country. Go out and get yourself educated. Put the education to work making wealth for mankind; some of the wealth you create will come back into your pocket.

Offering fully thought out criticism & explaining consoquences requires real intellect. Just whining is simply say why can't we live in a Utopia. Not even Bill Gates with all his wealth gets a Utopia!

You call it whining...we call it trying to get our point across to deaf ears. What do you want us to do...conservatives are controlling every aspect of government...we can't do anything and conservatives don't want to be bi-partisan...it's their way or the highway.

And I don't know what you're talking about "make a change". Many liberals are out there doing just that. Take global warming/energy conservation for instance. I'm a liberal and do all that I can to promote energy conservation and alternative energy (such as using wind power). This is one small example among many others.

Oh and I just saw the funniest thing...
"Republican are raise the min wage, save the environment "
Republicans supporting the minimum wage raise bill ONLY because it reduces estate tax, and all them Republican politicians sure could use a decrease in estate tax and could care less about the common people. And save the environment, ha! That's the funniest thing I ever heard. Have you ever heard of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Have you ever read the clean air act...they just stuck a fancy name on it to fool their blind followers that don't want to open their eyes.

How come some Repub's blindly follow whatever the pres. says. He is supposed to be representing us...not controlling us! Though obviously with such a low job rating approval not every Repub blindly agree's with him, which is a good thing.

P.S....Your question sounds like a big load of whinning to me...why don't you come up with something original instead of the usual conservative blind follower response that "liberals are whiners". And let me clarify, I have nothing against Republicans, and I think true bi-partisan government works fairly well....granted it has it's problems. However, most of the Repub's holding high government seats today don't care what anyone has to say but themselves. And I also don't support everything others in my own 'party' support. And believe me, I hate it when liberals get on here just to say "why are Repub's so blah blah blah"...it's ridiculous, say something logical for a change rather than "they're stupid morons" or "they're lazy bastards".

Now, why don't you take a look at your own question and realize you are acting just as partisan as those in politics now...you couldn't give a crap about what half the rest of the world thinks...as long as you blindly follow your leader and believe in everything said you are happy in your own little 'matrix'. (in other words you would have taken the blue pill)

I'm a social worker, and I have been working very hard, particularly in the last six years, thanks to the many "changes" the GOP have pushed through. Heck, I dont have time to whine anymore, because I work with abused and neglected children and their parents. I pick lice nits, clean feces out of my car when abused children defecate in it, and try to help put families together. Honestly, for the last six years I have not had any time to whine about the devastation our nation's poorest, sickest, and oldest members have suffered. For example, I recently had fun trying to find a wheelchair for an eighty-six year old because Durable Medical coverage was eliminated in our state. Oh, and I try to recruit adoptive parents for these beautiful abused children who need families, and guess what? The conservative wonderful people you praise so much usually aren't the ones at the front of the line, hoping to adopt. Those conservative people prefer their children to be more pale than the ones we have to offer, so I'm afraid the liberals are gonna have to keep taking care of that "problem" you and yours like you don't want to deal with. Funny, too...Jesus was pretty big on social justice, doing good to other humans, frowning on corporate greed and mega churches that are uber-wealthy...WOW, sounds quite a bit like the "base" Mr. Bush refers to, doesn't it? You got it, Jesus wouldn't have been a republican - Jesus was a LIBERAL!

Oh, we try to make changes all the time - and then get labeled
with the epithet "Liberal" or "Communist". Most people who
use the labels don't really know what either means, but boy
they've become fun to bandy about, haven't they?

Well ... ok, here's a change.

Lets not elect any more Republicans to Congress, shall we?

Then we can actually get to work cleaning up all of the
environmental damage this administration has done, get to
work on a real foreign policy that recognizes that there
are other countries with valid opinions, and perhaps even
re-fund the social programs in this country so that we can
start being PROGRESSIVE instead of REGRESSIVE.

How about improving education instead of forcing people
to meet a low standard?

How about funding research into alternative energy instead
of giving tax benefits to the energy companies? I know ...
lets NOT give the oil companies tax benefits and use the
money we get to fund energy research.

Lets NOT spend 350+ billion dollars in Iraq and spend it
on research, social programs and economic aid abroad.

We did more for our safety by providing help for the Tsunami
then we did with all of the bullets shot in Iraq.

And my personal favorite: Lets make it very easy for kids
to be involved in "swap" programs abroad so that they have
a chance to see that the United States is not the only
country on the planet.

Comparatively cheap - and it will do wonders for our
understanding of other people in the decades to follow.

FYI, liberals FOUNDED America!

You seem to forget that the Founding Fathers were extreme left-wing radicals, not a bunch of neo-con whack jobs.

Think about it, dummy! In an era where the Crown wielded absolute power -- literally the power of God -- here was a bunch of crazies declaring a government of the people, by the people and for the people. And with the inalienable right of life, LIBERTY and the pursuit of happiness, no less! You just can't get much more left-wing liberal that THAT, my friend!

By today's standards, they make modern main-stream liberalsim look like old-line conservativism.

Thank GOD for liberals and liberalsim! Without both, the US would not exist today! We'd be part of Great Britain still, singing God Save the Queen at sporting events, paying £4.00 per gallon for petrol, and double our current taxes. (OK, we'd have some pretty neat pubs and better public transport, but we would NOT be AMERICANS!)

Yes, thank GOD for liberals and liberalsim!

Liberals have lots of great ideas for change, here are a few;

*no more welfare for the super-rich, whether tax cuts that only benefit the wealthy, corporate 'subsidies', kickbacks and other handouts
*actually showing some fiscal responsibility, instead of plunging the nation further and further in debt to China, an unfriendly communist nation
*re-investing in our broke and broken school systems, so we can make some smart children for once instead of so many smart bombs
*letting judges do the job they are there to do, instead of hog-tying them with ridiculous mandates that have made us the largest prison society in the world (at the cost of nearly $200,000,000 a day, every day)
*stop waging costly, stupid unwinable wars for no reason whatsoever
*re-establishing our political integrity, so that every other nation in the world stops distrusting and hating us

I could go on and on, but I can tell by the tone of your "question" that you have the intellectual capacity of a fruit fly, so never mind

Let's see, the conservatives have the White House, The Senate, the House of Reps and the Supreme Court, and you want to know why the liberals aren't fixing the country? Take your meds.

You really need to go to the sink in the bathroom or kitchen, turn on the cool water and let it run until it's the right temperature, put the stopper in the bottom and then go soak your head.

lol,

your silly.

You suggest that the all we do is whine, but in fact we work real hard for change.

There is a war for the survival of the country let alone the planet if the current adminstraition and party remains in power.

their is a real battle that you don't see......but what do you care.

its easy to post something like your lazy or don't do s###.
its too easy for you.

what i find amusing is you feel theartened enough by progressives to post about them.
If they were so lazy you would even know they exsisted....

thanks for the concern.
