Absolutely not. Domestic animals are not legal to eat.
In Japan it is very common to eat the domestic dog. My wife even ate it a few times. Needless to say, she is not allowed to be alone with me puppies, ever.

It's sure not LEGAL in the U.S. , but I am sure that it happens anyway. There are some countries that allow this, but I personally think that it is really gross. Besides, do you think that animal activists would allow that kind of atrocity? Not likely!
