Probably some kind of extreme grind core is the heaviest metal, the heaviest dance is probably gabba. Napalm Death and Bolt Thrower are both pretty heavy in the metal catagory. Anything on the thunderdome compilations is pretty heavy dance.

Unearth, Children of Bodom, 3 Inches of Blood, The Black Dahila Murder, The Dillinger Escape Plan Blood Has Been Shed, Lamb of God, Arch Enemy

The list goes on but it's sorta hard to pinpoint one particular band as the "heaviest". What would be your choice?
