I just bought a black and white dress for my cousins OUTDOOR wedding.

Its a capped sleeve with pencil eraser sized white polka dots. The dress itself is black. It hits me about 2 inches below my knees.

The dress is a thin cotton, so I think that heels are a little out of the question.

What shoe would work well with it?

But in black.

since it is outside i agree that flats would be best...however, a cute wedge would be fine too...

I don't understand why wearing a thin cotton dress would mean heels are out of the question... Those flats were somewhat cute... but they don't say wedding to me. I would go with something strappy and simple in either black or white, small heel. Your dress has enough going on, so don't get shoes with bows or jewels, etc.

Those would be nice. You can also go with a strappy wedge, in black. I have a great pair that has 2 straps over the foot with a diamond "buckle" something like that would be good too.

buy black flats..they are cute with a dress that ends right below your knees. That will look nice.
