why is it that when i go to log off my laptop i recieve a message saying that there are other people logged on to this computer and restarting may cause them to lose any unsaved data. this is my laptop and there should be no others logged on and also. my neighbors can tell whenever i am logged on to aol. why is this? better yet what can i do about both of these situations. thanx for ur time and have a nice day.

because they are going through your computer getting bank account info, ss#, everything from you...I would just throw the laptop away..or send it to me.

Do you have a connection at your house or are you piggy backing onto someone's wireless? This is how your neighbors know you're on line - and also why you're getting the messages...

i dont know about the loging off part but as far as aol is could be your call waiting for aol or they know your screen name for your aol account.
