Why do you want to make friends with her? Is it her popularity or her personality that attracts you? Unfortunately, some people just want to be popular and figure the best way is to hook-up with someone who already is. I can tell you this: The popular kids in junior high or high school may not be who you really think they are... some are snobby and some are not, some are aloof and some are down-to-earth. I suggest you look at this girl's character traits... is she snobby? Or is she down-to-earth and approachable? You can find out pretty quick sometimes about a person by passing them in the hallway and saying "Hi." If they say "hi" back, that's a good start... if they ignore you or act like they didn't hear or stick their nose up... that's a clue you don't want to be around them.

Well you should be really nice to her and make yourself surrounded by people who u think is cool. Most popular people become friends with other popular people.

well relate to her. If she is reading the same book as you, use it everyday in her class. Become friends with her friends. Or you can just tell her you are new and ask to be a homework buddy, so you score at getting her number.

be yourself and everything will fall into place. Trying to be someone your not will make you NO friends. People will eventually see that your a fake and wont wanna be your friend. So, be yourself.
