You cannot negotiate with terrorists. They will only demand more and more from you until they demand something you cannot give, then you are at war anyway. These people have no honor and do not respect the rules of war and open combat. They are cowards that hide amongst civilians and use them as shields in order to carry out nefarious deeds. They need to be wiped out because whether you negotiate with them or not, given the opportunity they would murder you and everyone else on this site. Do not forget that. I certainly wont therefore I will support my country and any other country fighting them in any way I can.

We can blow away entire nations, without Nuclear weapons, we have MOABs. 22,000lb conventional smart bombs with nuke blast power but NO radiation.

WE have Tomahawks with fuel-air explosive war heads. The big Tomahawks can carry 10 war heads. They can burn entire cities with fuel-air explosive.
First the MOAB, when the shock wave clears, in comes the Tomahawk. The entire city is flattened and then burned with fuel-air explosive. The fuel-air explosive burns everything left and it burns off all the oxygen. There is no way to survive!
With our satellites we can target every Arab city in any terrorist nation, and then lock them all into a firing solution. Then at 3am any morning the order was given, every Arab city targeted could be blown clean off the face of the Earth, all at the same time.
We could land our troops 30 minutes later and own the entire nation. There wouldn’t even be anyone left to shoot at our soldiers. The only thing that would be left are giant smoking holes in the sand. Maybe then the other nations would say “ What ever you do don’t piss off the Americans! They can blow away our whole nation with the push of a button, just like they did to those stupid Arabs!” Maybe being “ Dust in the Wind” would stop all stupid BS America bashing. At least to our face, what they to themselves behind our backs doesn’t matter.

I agree that to a certain extent that when dealing with animals with no feelings, we can't try to be too 'human' in our approach, cos they will seize any opportunities they have to kill. For example i support countries who are totally strict at the custom checkpoint , if a person might be a potential terrorist (when in actual fact he is innocent), the fact that he was barred from entering the country is completely logical as the officers is limiting the risks of another terror attack. But instead i hear people complaining and saying this is totally unfair and they are over doing it etc....
In order to protect your own territory from being attacked by outsiders, its essential to be proactive. I am sorry to see that people are bias towards certain religion now, but well this is human nature....if u choose to follow this religion, then you will have to bear the consequences of how others will look and treat you... Thats life !

No, it doesn't.
I knew there were bad people trying to bomb us before hand.
We are not safe. We weren't safe and we will never be safe!
Its all a matter of degree, and by turning the country into an
unsafe fortress and making us surrender all of our privacy,
we are basically doing the terrorists damage for him.
Guess what - even if the government recorded all of our calls,
placed cameras on all of our heads, read all of our e-mail
and forced us to listen to Muzak - WE STILL WON"T BE SAFE.
You cannot ring the 9/11 bell over and over and over and
be thought credible. Reasonably improving airline safety is
a good thing. Whipping the country into a state of terror
is a bad thing. Using it to attack other countries on the
mere suspicion (as it turns out, unfounded) is despicable.
Using it to increase the price of oil ... Wow!

It is not like it is Germany out to get us. They dont have a place we can just blast off the map. We have soldiers in the field already trying to find the leaders. But how do you find them when they dont have a nice HQ you can level with smart bombs? We have already tried a military solution, so far I dare someone to say it has been totally effective. The incidents are found faster and often stopped before they happen, but still plans are ongoing. Fanatics and people ready to die to kill more of us are the hardest to stop, they have no country to destroy, how do you suggest we stop them?

And there is someone in the middle east saying the same thing to their peers about us. This is a Holy War and as strongly as we feel about our rights and freedoms they feel about theirs. There will not be any winners in this situation, only more death...and that is sad. If we are trying to help and "act" civilized why don't we try to understand their culture and customs instead of trying to Americanize the world? Maybe we are the terrorist with out weapons of mass destruction and lofty ideas of what is right and wrong.

Sorry, your arguements are not convincing. . . and I was standing at the World Trade Center when the first plane hit the building, so I'm well aware of the pain of terrorism. What you suggest will only increase hatred & future attacks. Sure, we must defend against attack--but we really need to use our heads and change the "anger" that is out there to create a more peaceful tomorrow.

I don't live in States and my country up to now is safe but all this happens for you to be scared,so you can easily be controled.The other reason is to make you feel hate for all those people they kill every day.

war does solve problems if it is fought all out by warriors and not politicians. When a few hundred million muslims are dead, the rest may rethink things. I am serious - they need to be killed. I am so sick of this cra* I cant stand it anymore.
Wish they would take to fighting in our streets here so I could take them out myself. alas they are cowards hiding behind kids.

I was covinced after 9/11 people don't want to admit it but we are
in a holy war (wwiii) we cannot coexist with idiots bent on converting
us to their religion or exteminating us. in my opinion we need to
begin building detention camps.
