I assume you are running Windows XP.

> Select 'Start'
> Select Control Panel
> Select System
> Select the Hardware tab
> Depress the Device Manager button
> Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controller Node
> Right click each node and uninstall all of them
> At the very top, select Scan for hardware changes
> This will re-install all the USB root hub and USB drivers

Have you gone to the "device manager" to see if it is working properly?

To open Device Manager, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click System. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager. I think if you right-click on the USB drive then select Properties, it will tell you if it is in working order.

If you have a dell computer.. go to www.dell.com, HP computer.. go to www.hp.com, get it?

then click on something like Downloads and Support

You can download your usb driver again, if that isnt it. then you can chat with someone from that comp and they will help you fix the problem.
