I'm trying to make a book, but I have 2 ideas, but don't know which to pick. One is about a 17 yr old girl, and figuring out that her dad is a serial killer, and while he's in court, she's staying with her mothers sister in law. and she meets a boy along the way, but many things happen to her surprize, and many lies come undone. And another one is that a horrible thing happens in a small town, that all parents are taken for studies, or any adult that is married. and a young 13 yr old takes responsibility of her little sister, and her friends and her 2 baby cousins, and a friends 2 children, and a dog of her dads. Now all of them live in her house and try to survive on there own. And try to still go into school, AND take care of 5 children. And sadly I don't know WHICH to choose!

Both plots sound intriguing. The second one seems to be in the science-fiction genre as you mentioned "that all parents are taken for studies."

My first inclination is your first choice, particularly with the protagonist learning truths previously distorted. If you're still in doubt on which one to write, attempt just a chapter for each of them and then choose.

Whichever way you go, try to concentrate on correct spelling and grammar in your novel--unlike the example set forth in your non-question.

don't experience such as you may start up on the commencing up. Write the stuff which you're feeling and then later you may greater healthful it in the place you desire it. If it would not finally end up working as a results of fact your tale has taken yet another course, then don't be afraid to diminish it out, the two. Rowling mentioned that she had the final financial disaster of the Harry Potter series written whilst she replaced into writing e book one and he or she wrote the 1st financial disaster of e book 5 (i think of) hoping to apply it in e book 2. So basically considering the fact which you write it, does no longer propose you won't be able to alter your techniques later. basically start up writing interior the middle. desire that helps.

I guess the story with the 17 yr old girl. Wouldn't her mother's sister-in-law be her Aunt?

Both story lines seem a little convoluted. Write them both and see which turns out the best, but start with the 17yr old.

Good luck and have fun!

Begin writing what is on your mind foremost. I assure you that at some point a scene will become difficult to get through. It will bog you down in thought.

Move to the next story, refresh your creativity by immersing yourself in the second story. And, the same thing will occur. At this point you can then move back to the other story, refreshed and able to take a new look at the scene which bogged you down before....

Write both. You'll always wonder where the other one would have gone if you only choose one. And you'll have two books to publish instead of just one.

I think you should write both of them, they both sound awesome if written well. Those plots are unique and the story line seems as if it would flow. Good Luck!

Do the first one. The second one sounds... not as good.
