I don't think Hillary Clinton can be elected. There are certain areas of the country that would elect a flea-bitten, mangy dog for president before they would elect any woman (the south, for example). In todays political climate, you have to win over right-leaning moderates in order to win the White House. For a Democrat, that means you have to be a southern Governor (or a well known southern senator). I think John edwards is electable.
As to being able to clean up after Bush, no one president will be able to do that, no matter who it is. It's going to take more than eight years to accomplish.

I know many are going to say Hillary but it will be a cold day in hell when this country will elect a woman to be president. She still at this point has not proven her self to me. And being a woman and a liberal is not reason enough for her to get my vote. However, if she is the best candidate I hope the American people prove me wrong and elect her. For now I think Joe Biden is the best candidate I have seen.
