Okay, so living in Chicago, and listening to rap for a long time, although I am white and dress preppy. I have come to realize gang life is not something to deal with.
A gangsta, is somebody who is involved with a group of people, a gang, who command a region, and consider themselves a "family". Gangsters are all about making money, and do stuff such as sell drugs. They often feel like their life is in danger, because of other gangs, and are forced to carry around a gun. Gangstas usually wear their gang colors and nothing but that and have complete loyalty to their gang.
