Ok...my question sounds weird Iknow BUT! I need help. My little brother was staying with us and I didn't know he is having difficulties wetting the bed. Long story short...I need to clean my couch! Not all of it comes apart, and I can't really use a machine on it because it's fiberfill and batting cushions. So any help? How do I get the urine smell out? (It's so bad!) How do I get out any stains? And have you ever used anything that makes the furniture look brighter? Thanks in advance to all your suggestions!

I can not use a steam cleaner! It's batting and fiber fill...the machine won't get down deep enough!

In my couch, the cushions (with fibrefill) are attached so I can't take them off to wash them, either. However, I can unzip them and change the fibrefill. While they're empty, use an upholstery cleaner and make sure they're dry before restuffing them. Fibrefill can be bought at any fabric store and is pretty cheap.

Steam cleaners have an upholstery attachment. They work great. Spray on some oxy clean stain remover then steam it off with a little steam cleaner detergent in the water. You can rent a steam cleaner at almost any home store, grocery store or drug store. Good luck.

Go to the pet isle (or to a pet store) and ask for the urin smell remover. They have this stuff that you can spay on furniture that will disolve the smell/urin without having to scrub. (lots of luck)
