I think that my existence is very important to the world and to mankind and to the universe in general. However, that is not to say that I am any more important than any other being, object, or idea that exists in the universe.

lol, to the world in general little to none. To mankind maybe some. I'm an artist and I like to think of all art as a beautiful creation that serves to define the positive points of our civilization.

We all do are small part, but someday I hope to define myself by making a big positive influence upon the world.
The world is a big place and at the moment to it I may seem insignificant, but I know that I am the world for a select few who love me and I in return.
When I reflect upon them I understand that it does not matter if I never make my big influence for if I touch their lives they will someday be the world.

well if you believe in the butterfly affect than yeah, I do.
short definition:the phenomenon whereby a small change at one place in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere, e.g., a butterfly flapping its wings in Rio de Janeiro might change the weather in Chicago
A man was strolling down the beach at sunset one day picking up washed up starfish and tossing them back into the ocean, a woman also strolling on the beach sees him and confused she confronts him "what are you doing?" she says " there must be thousands of washed-up starfish on this beach, you can't possibly make a difference!"
The man pauses, looks at her , throws one more back and says
"made a difference to that one"

according to the chaos theory a butterfly flapping it's wings can cause a hurricane on the otherside of the planet. i don't think it is meant to be literal but your effect on the population is existant if you are anyone on any level. it's the "ripple effect" like throwing a stone in a pond. the question is how big of a stone are you trying to throw?

i am so important to this world. if i wasn't born then some other person would have to deal with all the weird things life threw my way. i don't think anyone else could handle my life as well as i do.
