because theyre are intelligent and know how to run a company. thats opening up their market segment.

theyre pitching to the 18-25 male demographic and face it. a lot of us in that age range watched Pee Wee back in the day on saturdays. thats why. thats also why they show saved by the bell.

funny how people seem to think that all Paul Rubens did was Pee Wee. he was on murphy brown, buffy the vampire, slayer, and he freakin co starred in BLOW. come on now give a guy some freakin credit. the show was educational and helpful for kids.

I cannot even fathom how that makes sense, but obviously to someone it did. Not I'm not defending that POS show, but I think some over the age of thirty's actually enjoy Paul Rubens humor, which is understandable to a certain degree. But sadly when people think Paul Rubens it usually tends to strike the thought of that damned character Pee-wee. So-o-o-o when an adult comedian assumes the form of a child's hero, oddly enough, some fans follow him as he declines to badly done green-screens and talking chairs. Now when these fans make a commotion or one of them joins a television network's idea board, bad things seem to happen. Paul Rubens only did this one show that lasted as long as it did, so when fans look for Paul a.k.a. Pee-wee, this is the best they can get.
Also, people like to laugh at other stupid people, and imbeciles don't really get more moronic than Pee-wee...I mean he spends his time talking to puppets, cowboys, and smiling furniture.

The same reason why "Saved By The Bell" was on Adult Swim. Even though it's not animated it fits the demographic somehow.

There's no rule in their license saying they must always show cartoons on that channel

He can't be on during the daytime because he scares the crap out of little children when his voice and looks, not to mention he DID own some photos of child p*rn. He's a sick man and is meant to be shown only during the time children sleep.

have you seen ROBOT CHICKEN? the kinds of skits they do there fit perfect to the generation that was rasied on Pee Wee's Playhouse (seeing Voltron dance in one skit). Here's to my generation!

so Pee Wee is perfect for ADULT SWIM, as he's the closest thing to a cartoon character tat we can take seriously *giggles*
