Actually, It is a long story. No particular Scientist or Navigator found that the Earth is not FLAt But Round (sperical, to be more exact).

The whole credit must go to the Greeks. The people knew the Earth was round as far back as 2,500 years ago but have forgotten.

It was 500 years before Christ (BC), the Greeks were the first to THEORIZE about the shape of the earth. Pythagoras & Aristotle had their definite calculations about the earth & the stars taking the earth as Sperical.

It was Claudius Ptolemy (again, a Greek Philosopher, mathematician ) aroung 140 AD produced a map of the earth.

But the Medieval Church rejected the Greek Theory saying that the Earth is FLAT & the heaven was above & the Hell beneath.

If the Earth was FLAT as contended, it must have EDGES.

Then started the Circumnavigation of the Earth byColumbus (1492 A.D), Vasco Da Gama, Megallan (1519).

Who Discovered? None in particular. It as a common knowledge. The Later Navigators just confirmed that the Earth was Spherical in shape.

The answer may be THE GREEKS FIRST!
