Today Bush has said that we're at war against "Islamic facists." To me, it's discriminating my religion because he thinks that every terrorists are islamic descent. Haven't we learned in the Miami terror plot in June that the would-be terrorists are not from Islamic descent but from Hatian descent. I think that he should get the boot!!

In this case he was talking about Islamic extremists... so I think he can talk about it that way. If there was a plot done by German fascists, he'd probably say that too... or whatever. Anyway, I do think he is an idiot too... and has the worst public relations strategy EVER and this is just another example of it.
But... why defend those Islamic extremists if you are a peace-loving Muslim? Why not call them fascists as well and shame them for using your religion in a way in which it was not intended to be used... for perverting the religion that you love. You should be more outraged with those people who commit acts of violence in the name of Allah than at George Bush for condemning those particular Islamic extremists. I guess we could argue that those people aren't even true Muslims... maybe Bush and the news should start saying that... keep pushing that it is an extreme form of Islam.. or a distortion of it, so that the actual religion and these extremists views do not keep getting confused.

Are you a facist? I mean, President Bush probably calls Christian's who are extreme by an identifying title as well as Democrats.
I guess when I review what he said and how he said it, it was not an inclusive Islam term for all who believe. There is unfortunately a horrible anti-American group called Al Quieda and they don't need their name to be given the glory and air time by their acts.
I hope this is a comforting statement I wrote. I can see how just having your belief in Islam triggers your thoughts offensively when you hear what a political leader say it in negatism.

I would seriously consider changing your religion. On conversion from Islam to another religion your religion insists on death to those who wish to convert. What kind of stupied moron religon is this. To believe in Islam surely is to be a moron. That is obvious. It is brainwashing. Mohammed ruled by the sword. He loves killing. Of course Bush must defend the world against such morons. Throughout history the Islamic religion has forced people to believe Islam. Indonesia, India, Pakistan etc. The thing is that all Islamic people are racists because they are too afraid to believe there is no God. All non-muslims are infidels. Bush is a genius. The sooner the muslims understand that they promote hatred of other people, ie non-muslims. I hope one day all muslims will realise like most Christians there is no god. You are a coward that is why you believe in a God and hate all non-muslims.

Well i guess it would feel like persecution to be blamed for every bad thing that happens in the world.Not all Muslims are fascists terrorist,just like all Mexicans are not illegal ,or all Irish are not drunks.When the president of a country makes sweeping statements like that it seems to me to be well orchestrated rhetoric designed to incite hatred and bolster support of the war in Iraq.But then I am the suspicious type when it comes to conservative war hawks..I fully support our military,but I don't support this uncalled for and un winnable war. I know that all Muslims are not terrorists and it could have been more tactfully said by the president of the greatest nation in the world.

All people who blindly follow organized religion and believe that only their religion is true are fascists in my opinion. I think his statement is just fact, we are at war with Islamic Fascists. Unfortunately Bush is a Christian Fascist and therefore a hypocrite.
