You reached two doors. The door that leads to heaven is guarded by an angel that always tells the truth. The other door leads to hell guarded by a devil that always tells lies. If you can only ask one question to only one of them, what would your question be?

The catch here is that you cannot ask anyone of them about the other person.

Ask either one what color your eyes are. Since you know the answer, you will know that if the response given is correct, that this is the angel guarding the door to heaven. If the response is incorrect then it is the devil guarding the door to hell.

Easy. I would ask them what the other would say If I asked him about the door I should open. If I asked the liar he would lie to me, so he would say the angel of truth would point out to the door he is guarding, which is the same door the angel of truth would point out, for he cannot lie. Having said this, you just have to open the other one, ain't it?

I think the idea here would be to ask a question about something obvious, such as "What color are my pants I'm wearing?" You would know what color they are, of course, but if one Being can ONLY tell lies, then his answer would be that your pants are some other color. Then, you would know, of course, that the door he is guarding leads to hell. The other guy, of course, would answer truthfully: "Your pants are light blue with tiny yellow ducks." voila! Pass 'Go' and collect $200

Come on too easy.
Since you know who guard which door, you can ask any question to which you know the answer.
for example "how many fingers am i holding up"
If he person answers correctly go to his door, if incorrectly go to the other door.

Now if you did not know who guards which door -- there would be no solution.

Ask either one which way to goto where it itself belongs.
Devil will have to tell the lie and instruct you to heaven.
Angel will tell the truth and instruct you to heaven.

Mr. Devil guy,
If one was lied to by a liar who said everything he said was a lie how would one know if he was lying?
Mr. Angel Dude,
Will you let me into heaven?

i'd ask the angel how to get where i want to go, unless you mean there identities of angels and devils are hidden then i would ask how many people are inside my head

I would just go to the angel, ask him to step aside, and if he wouldn't, I'd kick his ***.

EDIT:

And the devil would probably help me.
