i see a lot of stuff on ebay adversised for Goth/wikka/sk8r/boho/emo. Whats emo stand for?

"A cheap imitation of goth". Emo's are well known for being depressed, are often cited as cutting themselves, listen to music like System of a down and My chemical romance and have long hair covering one side of there face. Emo actually is a shortening of emotional.

It's short for emotional.
It's a kind of a goth crossed with a skater (sk8r I think is how it is spelled for some reason). Basically sort of thin and a bit androgenous, often with SHD (self harm disorder) some ill-fitting clothing (usually red and black) and poorly applid make-up.
Also the sort of melodramatic music they enjoy (usually American heavy metal & new metal).
It's not that great compared to proper goths.

Emo= Emotional Hard-core music.
Scene= One who listens to emo, and pretty much looks like a newer version of goth.

Not sure exactly what it stands for but people that are emo are said to be fond of cutting themselves. Obviously they are in dire pain. Pysical pain can divert emotional pain, but it is only a temporary soulution. That is what it means to be emo.
