this page will tell you the steps involved in putting the bits together:
http://www.epinions.com/cmd-review-60CD-5739539-39D4DC27-prod1
it's not as hard as you might think, for every drive connect a ribbon from the motherboard and a power connector from the power supply, as well as the large one for powering the motherboard itself.
don't let it intimidate you, just read that page and get stuck in, one step at a time :)
don't forget to 'accept' this answer if it helped!

Yousohuld have tohught of that before.
First, mount the mother board in the case.
Next, mount the power supply in there.
Then, insert the RAM into the Motherboard.
Next, slide in the CD/DVD Drives into the bays.
Then, Insert the Hard Drive into the Hard Drive bay.
Next, insert all Sound Cards and Video cards in to the PCI Slots, the Video vould go in the pci-e slot.
Then, connect the power cables to the drives and the motherboard.
Next, the cable(s) to connect the CD/DVD Drives and the Hard Drive to the Motherboard.
Next, if you ahve any extra parts like a floppy drive or something, then put that is too.
Now, put in the processor in the slot and mount the fan onto it.
If there are any microphone or headphone jacks in the front, then there probably is a wire that you need to take out to the back and connect to the sound card.
Then, connect the Monitor to the computer and turn it on.
Next, stick in the Windows or Linux or whatever the Operating System you bought into the CD/DVD Drive and reboot.
Install the OS and you are done.
If I missed soemthing, then e-mail me if you can not figure it out.

It's actually pretty easy. You have to do a crapload of research to figure-out what you want, and chances are you will change your mind about 20 times. Make sure what is compatible and go at it. Don't forget your checklist:
Case
Power Supply
Motherboard
CPU with heatsink and fan
Thermal Grease
Memory
Hard-drive
CD-Rom drives
Video Card *
Sound Card *
Case fans *
Monitor *
Keyboard *
Mouse *
Speakers *
And especially don't forget, the operating system.
* note is for "if needed"
Then find a good site (like the ones listed above) for a tutorial.

First you are going to need a few tools. A crowbar a screwdriver and a drink. preferably a strong drink. The first thing you need to do is take your crowbar and pry off the top of your tower. Next thing you need to do is take your screw driver and touch everything with it to make sure they can accept all your junk to go inside it. after that is done you need to pound all your parts into the pc. Pound them in there good and hard. After that is done you need to take a marker and mark up things so you dont have to worry about messing up. After that is done take the screwdriver and make notches in the hard drive to make sure it isnt fake. After that is done put the tower back together and connect it and then you are ready to go. Have fun and enjoy your new pc.

There are many places you can get tutorials for this.

It's not really all that difficult. Start by putting the power supply in first, or you'll have some problems.
Oh, and make sure you're grounded. Electro-static discharge is like the worst lightning storm you've ever seen x10 to electronics.

if u have no understanding of it then u shouldnt have done that .... go to dfistreet and read up ... hopefully you got compatible parts ... if you did manage to get compatible parts just plug it all together ... the hardest part is usually getting the heatsink on the cpu ... and then the really hardest part is getting the operating system on it and ironing out the bugs and getting drivers working right .... good luck

you need a motherboard, power suply (usualy included with a tower) tower, cpu, CD and or DVD drive, HDD, graphics card (if not included in the motherboad) ram. your motherboard should come with a guide to put the cpu on the motherboard and to put the motherboard with the cpu on the tower the the manuals that came with the hardware should tell you how to put it together. ( i built one thats how i know).
