It should not make any difference whatsoever whether your doctor is male or female in what is done during your exam.

In a physical you should expect a digital (finger)rectal exam to check your prostate and a hernia exam of your groin area along with checking everything else above the waist.

I suspect that you are not a grown man but a silly kid, but just in case you really are what you say you are, I will answer your question.

Female doctors receive the exact same education and experience as male doctor. Your examinations will be the same, regardless of the gender of your doctor.

I find that female doctors ask a lot more questions and spend more time with you. I'm sure she'll do a great job!

a Dr is a Dr....male or female. if they are doing their job you will get the same results. i think it depends on the personality of the doc not the gender.
good luck...
