Seems to me every time I read about Bush he is either traveling around the world - or at his ranch in Texas.

It might be a good thing. If he was in Washington, he would probably just **** things up even more.

Someone on the news the other day said he'd spent 364 days away from the White House "on vacation". This does not include time that he spent traveling for diplomatic reasons or for campaigning.

I think Bush has been spending less time at his ranch than congress has been on vacation. There seems to be a rise in complaints about the "Do Nothing Congress."

his ranch is more of a home to him than the white house. i guess it is a Texan thing. but, i know some people who know him personally, and even though he is at his ranch, it doesn't mean, he isn't working. he speaks as though he is short-minded, but that is just cause his mind runs so fast, his mouth can't keep up. i was told he is constantly thinking and working, even at leisure. he has a laid-back style, another Texan thing. and the mrs. always has a smile on her face, meaning, she is kept satisfied....lol

Bush spends far more time traveling or at the white house than at his ranch.

Funny how he's vacationing while people are brutally dying every day. Maybe he should stay on his ranch and keep his "diplomatic" mouth shut.

That's what President's do. What do you expect him to do, hang around the water cooler getting serviced my interns? He has more communications at his finger tips than most do sitting at a desk all day.
