Whether he is dead or alive it seems that both his supporters and opposers want the public to think he is alive.
Anybody out there might be interested to rewatch "Ben Hur" and decide which of the two boyhood friends appealed to Bush and which appealed to Bin Laden - unless the two of them only watched cowboy films.

Of course he's still alive, he had such a head start on the U.S. government thanks to President Bush that it's going to be years before we catch him and even then it's not going to be because of our government, it's going to be some random sighting by a civilian that leads to an unavoidable arrest. The better question is, what are we going to do when he finally is caught? Who are we going to go after then with Sadam and Osama both behind bars?
What's America ever going to do without some cause to be at war? It's pathetic.

He is alive. I just answered one of his questions. He uses the nickname "Buttercup" on this site. Check out his 360. He asked about what would be the best heating and cooling system for his cave. I told him to try Lennox. They do a really good job and they don't ask questions. They charge only a minimal service fee. On his 360 you will see that he likes gangsta rap music and women who buy their burkas from Victoria's Secrets. His biggest regret is that he was never chosen for the dating game. If he could audition for American Idol he would sing "Star Rockets in Flight, Afternoon Delight. He collects fine wine. His cave makes a perfect wine cellar.

I think even if he is not alive it is very possible that he is being used much like the Goldstein character in 1984 - as an icon and excuse for all the erosions of freedoms and privacy and to fight the nonending war
