What exactly did Mel Gibson say/do that has everybody mad at him?

I have heard that he said something or did something. I hardly watch tv so I haven't heard it on there.

Was driving drunk, had bottle of tequila in the car with him and when stopped went on a drunk rant blaming the Jews for all the world's problems. Since he comes from an anti-semetic family (his Dad is a real winner!) - his Dad disputes whether the Jewish holocaust took place, is a crazy fringe Catholic, etc. this caused an even greater outrage since he denied anti-semitism after the Passion of the Christ - now you've got to think he might be.

He said the thing about Jews that no one knows, and some people do but are too scared to say anything - Mel Gibson, another reason to love you.

He was driving drunk and said some disparaging things about Jews. Basically, it was the booze talking; I doubt that Mel is an anti-Semite like his dad.

Even one of Mel's Jewish friends stood up for him, too.

I really hope that Mel should go through rehab to help curb his alcoholism, which is going to be tough because alcoholism is hard to overcome. I wish him the best of luck and he is in my prayers.

He got drunk, got pulled over, tried to get away, yelled rude jew "comments" and then apologized later. he's a typical american. we all say things we regret after a few, he is no different, except when he does it the whole world hears about it. when we do it, only a few hear it! Poor guy, can't even get loaded anymore, what has the world come to?

he was drunk and made a comment about jews to a cop but from what i understand police officers arent supposed to let out confidential police reports so i have no idea why they let that info out

well he goty looped ,got stoped for DUI/DWI and spewed a bunch of slurs agenst jews and blamed them for the worlds wars.
Im sure he honestly regrets his actions for reasons other than public opinion.lets face the facts people we have all ,at one time or another said or done someting stupid and being drunk only makes us better at stupidity
