I think I ovulated on day 15, 16, or 17. I had intercourse only on the morning of day 19.
Starting with cycle day 10 I began to have eggwhite cervical fluid, then on the 15th I had an abundance of eggwhite, very little on the 16th, and a small amount on the 17th. I also had ovulation pains on day 14. Which day did I likely ovulate? and is Conception likely on day 19?

Most likely you ovulated when you expected to, based on the signs.

Studies have show, if there is no sperm present at ovulation, the egg "dies" pretty soon. So, sperm can hang around several days (i've seen numbers from 3 to 5 days) waiting for an egg, but the egg won't wit for sperm very long. You're probably safe.

However, keep in mind a recent study found that women can sometimes ovulate randomly at unexpected times. Not very often, but if you look around Yahoo Answers" you will find that some people have gotten pregnant on the last day or 2 before their period, or the first day after. It happens. I would guess your ovulation date was either the 14th or the 15th because of the CM. As for conception on day 19, it's likely. Not your optimal conception day but still likely. Keep yourself intune with your body for implantation pains and bleeding in the next week or so and that should give you a better guess. Also, if you have been tracking temperature, your temp will stay elevated to ovulation temp if you conceived.

by your description, conception doesn't sound likely for day 19. if you ovulated days earlier, i believe the egg doesn't hang around for very long, so if no sperm are present, it begins to die. i just recently discovered i am pregnant (recently like 2 days ago!) and it was on our first attempt. i ovulated on day 14 and we had intercourse on days 10, 11, 12 & 13 just to be sure! the sperm can live for days, but the egg can't, so we put the sperm in there BEFORE the egg releases and they just wait around for a few days until the egg arrives. well, it worked for us anyway. good luck to you!!!
