I had the exact same pain when i was pregnant with my first child and all it was stretching of my ligament. The doctors said since my stomach was growing so rapidly it was putting extra pressure all over my body. I found comfort sitting on pillows or laying on my side with a pillow tucked under me. Try not getting up too fast or making fast movements take your time and it will all go away it did for me. Congrats and good luck.

I think that the olny sure fire way to get the pain to go away is to deliver. Sorry. The pain is probably because the baby is not happy with out...no I am kidding! The baby is probably in a position where he/she is pressing aginst the ligaments or has one of those little elbows in there. The pain will go away...Do not put your feet up. Laying flat and standing up gives the baby more room to move arround.

Tylenol should be allowed; most women can take that safely when pregnant. I had pain like that with my second one much more than with my first. Doctor is right, probably ligaments, since it is only the one side.

Try pelvic rocking.

Also try seeing a massage therapist to keep your body in balance during your pregnancy. This will help you feel better while PG, balance your body for labor and help you learn to relax for labor.

Hey try one of those exercise balls to sit on. It worked wonders for me. Forces you to sit probably but comfortably.
