How is the service on the A340 flight from JFK to Kingston? I am planning on going there in mid December, but I heard a lot of bad reviews about flights being delayed. However, the last time I flew from Jamaica to Miami on American Airlines, my flight was canceled and I had to come back to the airport the next day, so I guess Air Jamaica is not the only airline in Jamaica with occasional delays and problems. I heard the A340 planes were really nice. Should I stick with Air Jamaica when I go down there for Christmas?

Book months in advance. Thousands of Jamaicans live in New York and they would be scrambling to go home for the holidays.
The flights will be so full that there will be no room to take a message. Do not even try to take excess baggage: they will charge you an arm and a leg as a deterrent.

The flight will be packed rock solid.
People will be trying to check in lots of luggage.

The A340 is Hugh. I would stick with Air Jamaica, however if you fly a lot then go on AA for the miles!
