Have you ever been to one of those "free vacation" time share presentations? Was it worth it?

Yes, several years ago we did one in Orlando. It took about 3 hours. We had a nice buffet breakfast, a tour of a beautiful timeshare, and then the high pressure presentation. When you say no, they try to make you feel terrible and insult you by saying the reason you say no is because you can't afford it. We then had to walk a long distance to where we parked. We did receive 3 tickets to Universal. Just make up your mind to say no and enjoy your free tickets!

I was inside a huge room full of representatives trying very hard to sell those time shares. My question was: If the deal is so sweet, Why they need to use all this bait?
They show you amazing concept pictures and models, why don´t they show you the real thing?
There may be a bennefit on wasting your time there, maybe a free lunch or a bit of money, but if you are weak on your decissions, Don´t even try to go. And never carry your credit card with you on those visits.

I was going to go then I realized that nothing in life is free. I would not be able to say no to buying the time shares they sell. Im too nice to say no. Its better to just say no and dont go.

no, but usually they give away free gifts AND you can get a free meal out of it. worth it in my opinion. and no I didn't get sucked into buying any of their crap
