The only ones I know are: Bonnie Blair, Harrison Ford, Quincy Jones, Bill Murray, Michael Jordan, Robin Williams, and the bands Plain White T's, The Academy Is... , and Fall Out Boy.

Liz Phair, Chris O'Donnell (though I wouldn't call him a celebrity), John Cusak, Smashing Pumpkins are all from Chicago and/or live there.

The only ones I can think of is the band Rise Against. They're actually really proud of their Chicago heritage from what I've seen and heard.
