I personally like dogs better. You can do more with them! Cats just run around and hide not to mention jump up on things especially where their not supposed to and knock stuff over. So annoying!!

Personally I prefer cats. I like watching tv or playing on the computer with a cat on my lap purring away. In my personal opinion, dogs have a tendency to get in the way all the time. however i will admit that cats can do so also. However I can understand those who like dogs...in a way.

I think I like dogs better.. bc I mean it does depend on the breed but they dont tend to smell as bad. They are more social also. Many cats are very particular about who they like and answer too. Most dogs are layed back and go with the flow. I mean this is all in general of course.. im sure some dogs play favs. too..

Oh no! Cats are much better. They're cleaner, independent, don't slobber all over you, don't sniff rear ends, don't start barking unexpectedly for hours on end-my whole community is full of dogs and it's a nightmare when they all howl at once. Cats have sweet faces, sleek bodies and fit very nicely into your lap. My cat likes to follow me into the garden and sit with me without my having to instruct him to. When I feel low he comes over purring and rubs his soft head against mine and circles my back with his tail. Also they bury their waste, you don't have too! or take them for walks for this purpose. If you're busy then a cat will walk itself. And if you have an apartment their very quiet and don't bother other tenants. Cats are marvelous companions!

cats are temperamental, but there are cats who are very affectionate -- like they'd come up to you as soon as you get home. what i like about them is that they're clean and they don't smell bad.
dogs are very loyal, when you say the words "best friend" -- a dog immediately comes up to my mind (a golden retriever to be precise). but they kinda smell, and that's the only part i don't like.
it's a tough choice, but more likely, i'd lean towards the dog section. but after school, once i have my own house and i could do anything i want to do? i will adopt a cat and a dog.

I can't make a choice between the 2....I love them both....I have a beautiful little 5 year old pug named Zoe and am on the waiting list at my local shelter to adopt a full blood persian cat when one comes up available...I used to have a shaded silver persian show cat named Leo and so help me God, that cat was my soul mate.

Cats are really cute, but they are sneaky little demons in discuss!!
I prefer dogs!! They are easier to train. They behave better and are such a companion.
You've never seen a cat leading a blind person :)

I'd rather have a dog but after I lost my chow I don't want anymore.You get too attached to them.They are like a family member and it hurts so bad to lose one,he got hit by a car and busted up his insides.I cried for a week.
