No, I never have. You must remember, that advice is just that, some other point of view, that you may not have thought of.
You needed take it, and if you do, then it means, you had to have agreed with it. So if it goes wrong, and it happens often, that it does.
Then the fault isn't with your friend, but yourself for taking it, in the first place.
Hopefully, it's nothing major or tragic, and you can get over it quickly.
If it is something serious, then you should take care, to look at all the possibilities, before you make up your mind, to act.
\Get as much advice as you can, and to through it all, to see if you can make it work.
Only we are responsible for what we do in our lives.

I didn't ASK for it, but I followed my mother-in-law's advice about an issue my husband and I were having at work (we both worked at the same college)... my sister-in-law who is an attorney (employment law) added her two cents worth... the end result was that he got fired... I had to quit because we had to move since he couldn't find a job there as the college was the major source of employment in the area... and if that weren't enough it also cheated my four kids out of free college educations that came with the jobs! Then she had the nerve to ask me not to tell my husband that we were acting on HER advice. I said "I'm sorry he already knows and even if he didn't I don't keep things from my husband."
Then she tried to tell me I was "too young for a mammogram". Thank goodness I didn't follow her advice on that one and they detected the tumor early! Not only did I tell everyone about it... I bring it up every chance I get. It's tacky, I know, but she's constantly telling the same story over and over and in her case it's kind of poetic justice! *L*
The moral of the story is ALWAYS follow YOUR instincts. If you're wrong you have no one but yourself to blame and TRUST ME it's a lot easier to forgive yourself than to forgive a couple of know-it-all, stick their noses in everybody's business B*****S that you have to spend every holiday with regardless! *LOL*

I have. Once the damage is done all you can do is damage control and future prevention. I made sure I didn't ask that particular person for advice again and in general didn't share too many details on iffy subjects anymore.
