We haven't seen a winning season from these teams in ages. I believe the last time the Brewers had a record over .500 was 13 seasons ago. And I don't think the Devil Rays have ever had one.

The Brewers are under new ownership and going in a new direction. They're poised to start winning.

As for the Devil Rays, I'd be more supportive of a plan to force the current owner to sell to someone who's interested in spending the necessary money to improve the team. Their current owner obviously isn't. Even if it means moving the team to a new location, its better than just eliminating the franchise.

Regardless, you need bad teams so that the good teams have someone to play against. If you start eliminating the worst teams ever few years, after a while, you'll have a league that consists of what, 10 teams? And they'll all play eachother to .500 records.

Tampa Bay may never make the playoffs, but depending on how they perform during the season, they have a major impact on who wins the division.

For example, last year, they played great against the Yankees and really hurt them. This year, they seem to be killing Boston, and might be a key reason why the Yanks win the AL East.

It wouldn't hurt for the Devil Rays to be contracted, but you can't get rid of the Brewers. Brewers are actually trying. Can't say the same for the Rays

It's highly doubtful that any teams will ever be contracted. The Major League Baseball Players Association (the union representing the players) would never go for it. Teams will just relocate to another city - as the Expos did in moving to Washington D.C.

No way, the brewers will be a pretty good team next year. The devil rays are just retarded for not calling up their prospects like dukes, upton, young, etc.

I think they should get rid of the devil rays, the royals, the brewers and the nationals. If they don't get rid of them at least move them to cities where fans will actually come and watch.

no longer whilst they only have been given a sparkling stadium, they go with greater effectual managment. There team needs to spend a sprint greater or advance there gamers swifter. they have an honest team now yet nevertheless won't be ready to compete against the cardinals.
