The legs of the chair are somewhat angled. I tried using plain sitck on felt, but it came off pretty quickly. I cant seem to find a product that will work. Also, any help on keeping bed wheels from scratching the floor will also be appreciated.

I bought some stuff a Walmart hardware Dept., sorry I don't have the name. They are made of like a thick soft plastic, Tan in color and it comes in different sizes with two way tape. I bought a set for my MapleTable (real heavy) and four chairs. They are advertiise as making your furniture glide accross the floor. I put them on last year in May and I haven't had any problems at all. Also in the hardware Dept. I bought some floor protectors that I am using under the legs of my washer to keep it from creeping accross the floor. The are made of like a Brown rubber , about 1 1/2 " round also can be found square, I think this might work for the casters on the bed.

I found both of these items in same lane in the store, I hope this helps.

Felt For Chair Legs

My friend used to make chairs for a supply company. He had little metal things, flat and round. That were nailed to the bottom
of the leg to make it move around without scratching.
Maybe there is something that can be screwed on. Or use
a good glue, not press-on types. I swear, they make things like glue and sticking surfaces with water today. Ain't worth a poop!

Ooh, I was going to suggest you try sticky felt on the chairs. Have you tried more than one brand of it? Some kinds stick much better than others. For the wheels, at my house we have these little round plastic thingies with edges that they sit in,.. sorry, don't know what they're called though.

They make little things at the home improvement stores that have a small round carpet thing on the bottem and a little nail type thing in in to tap into the bottem of the leg...mom has them on everything she owns. You don't even notice they are there except it's much quieter scooting your chairs around

crafting stores sell thick felt ..lay a peice under the legs mark it with a pen or what ever will work best for you .. then cut it to size and glue it on to the bottom of the leg. you can use crafters glue but it wont last as long as some of the other glues made for this you can ask at a local hardware store what the best type to use would be.

Well, ....Casters are out of the question. unless you want to drill holes in your chair legs.

I'd go buy a package of "Velcro" strips and use the fuzzy side on the bottom of the legs. They are so sticky, I've had a real hard time removing them in the past.

Bed frame rollers, huh?..............ya got me on that one. Sorry.

Casters --they work better than felt! And the antique glass casters are the best!
