Loans aren't free. You have to pay those back and with interest. If you want money that you don't have to pay back look into grants and scholarships. See if there are any at the college you will be going to that you qualify for. You can also look into the websites that I listed below. They might be able to help.

I know that it's hard to pay your way through school. I am going through the same thing now (grad school).

Good luck.

try looking for a scholarship not a loan - loans you have to pay back (hence it being called a loan...) There are tons of free scholarship search engines, you shouldn't go to web sites that make you pay for a search - they are ripping you off. Take the extra time to really do a good search on the internet. There are scholarships based on academic performance, race, sex, and extra curricular activities you are doing or may have done in high school. Also try searching for grants. First step will ALWAYS be to fill out the FAFSA. Do a google search for FAFSA and make sure you get the ACTUAL FAFSA site, not a knock off. All schools will make you fill out that form first - it is for federal student aid. A trip to meet with your University's Financial Aid department is a MUST!

Good Luck!

The grants are free, but there are loans that you don't have to start paying back until after graduation. the interest doesn't incure until then also. talk to the financial aid office.
Read very carefully, there are many.

No loans are free - scholarships and grants are.

Ask your college's financial aid office for help finding scholarships.

Loans you pay back AFTER you graduate, grants and scholarships are what you want.
