They've signed one already in Micheal Carrick. He's not that well known yet, but he's going to get better. Players always do when they go to clubs like Chelsea and Man united - look at Lampard and Joe Cole.

Think they'll probably sign a forward sometime before the transfer window closes at xmas - that's if they need one. Alan Smith is being converted back to a forward, Saha is looking good again, Solskjaer is still a good player, and they have Rossi coming through. They need a goal scorer, doesn't need to be world class - van Nistelrooy wasn't world class but he scores goals.

They have many promising players such as Rossi,Foster and Baardsley.

I believe in these guys. It's not about buying players but creating dreams for youths.

We should give these young lads to prove themselves. It's the same when someone gave you a chance even though you are young.

They don't need anymore great player. Their current players are good. Great players don't guarantee the winnning of a team. The more great player you have in a team, the more probability of losing. Take Real Madrid for example.

man utd is very good at developing players, gelling them into a team. how many stars have been signed by man utd only to leave the next season. there is only room for one ego at man utd, and thats fergies. if u come with an ego u out. and anyway it does not make financial sense. Chealsea made a loss last year becoz of signing big names, they cost too much.

because if they did.. they would be call CHELSEA .....
they dont buy great players cos they develop them... look @ becks, giggs, scholes, the neville boys, niky butt and even roy keane wasnt a star when he came 2 united... look @ rossi and richarson... they will become the next stars of united.. unless they hav a fight with fergie....
manutd only buy players when they are desperate.... look @ rio ferdinard, carrick now and veron....
