This terrifying new species of mutant predator was apparently roaming US streets, preying on the homeless in America's cities. Not only is it overcharging, it's biologically impossible. Some closely related species, such as lions-tigers and horses-donkeys, can produce viable offspring, but dogs-cats? Never. One is canine and the other is feline.

um.. it's anatomically/physiologically/genetically NOT possible to breed a dog and a cat.
so the answer to your question is YES: $4000 is a lot to pay for something that doesn't exist... or something they lied to you about.
