Yesterday I had some cramps, thought I might just get my period today so I wore a pad today.
There is a light pink discharge.
And today I just couldn't stay awake.
I feel really really really tiered.
My period is due in a week to a week and a half
Is it too early to take a home pregnancy test?

It is too early. The last time I was pregnant, I had a doctor do a blood test about a week and half before my period was due. The test came back negative. A week later, I took a home test and it came back positive. A couple of days after that I was given the same blood test and it came back positive.

It's too early now. You'll be better off waiting until the day your period is due, but if you can't wait quite that long, at least wait until you're only about 2-3 days away from it.

Good luck, I hope it turns out as you would like!

Home pregnancy tests rely on the level of hcg in your urine to come up with the results. Hcg is not produced until a fertilized egg implants into the uterine lining which happens about 3-7 days from the date of ovulation. The entire cycle can take 10-14 days after the date of your ovulation. Being that you're still 10 days out from the start of your period, I would say that you're probably too early to detect hcg with a home test since if you are pregnant, it is not being produced yet. I'm not saying that you are NOT pregnant, I'm just saying that if you decide to take a test now, don't rely on the result because it will most likely be negative. Take another when you are closer to your period- no more than 2-3 days before and even better to take it a day or so after you actually MISS a period.

Good luck!

too early to test the test even the 5 day sooner test are not 99% acurate UNTILL a misses period even say's so on the box! Honestly too early to be feeling tired that usually won't start till after a missed period you would only be 5 days pregnant or so at BEST it could be implantion spotting which can happen anywhere from 7 to 14 days after conception. IF YOU don't start test then testing to early may waste money and you will only have to re test if it's - still no period.

wow sounds like you are. A period a week and a half early and it is a "spotty" one. Yea so I would test in about a week and if nothing then retest again a few days after that. also look out for these symptoms that most get before they miss there period...
missed or spotty period
bloating
tiredness
nausea
tender sore breasts
moody
freq. urination
Hope this helps and good luck to you. It does sound like this spotting may be implantion bleeding which sometimes happens when the egg is inplanting in the uterus.
also it is too early to test. I would wait a week and then test and if nothing then do it again around the time or your period.

Fatigue is a major sign of early pregnancy. Take an over the counter test now (most come with two tests and some detect earlier than others) and then follow up with your doctor after you've missed you're period

Forgot the critics my buddy. Writing is a private ingredient and it is your emotions and thoughts you're expressing. i like your artwork while you evaluate that's very own. i do no longer in all probability care approximately proper shape. Perfection is uninteresting and over rated besides. it somewhat is like a music performed too completely. that's chilly and impersonal. provide me a sprint sloppiness and emotion any day.

First response is suppose to be able to tell if you're pregnant 5 days before a missed period.

go ahead and take one now if it'll put your mind at ease... if it comes out negative and you still haven't gotten your period in a week or two, take another one... or go to your local health department to get a test. if you test positive at the health department, they'll give you a confirmation of pregnancy and refer you to an OB/GYN... to start your pre-natal care early.
