Look in the yellow pages under cosmetic surgeons, or plastic surgery surgeons. Shop around. Insist they are board certified. do not go to ob-gyn who switched over. Insist on a free consultation as most of them do now. Go to a few preferably two or three.Ask for references and make sure you see that certificate in their office. By being board certified it means they already demonstrated their skills to the board specfications and passed the exam. All plastic surgeons vary in their specializations be it maxilofacial such as face lifts ar rhinoplasty. Some in tummy tuck and others in breast augmentation and a few in total body plastic surgery.

I used to live in Georgia and found some. It's not a mecca there but it's cheaper. One Dr wanted to charge me only $3,000 for a tummy tuck vs the over $6,000 i paid over here in San Francisco. The best place to go is Florida or Bevery Hills where it's cheaper as the supply exceeds the demand. Dr. 90210 on TV whom i contacted was charging less about $4,000 less.

I had a breast augmentation am recuperating on my second week. not bad. bearable pains if any. just use a good halter top for support to relieve the discomfort on the sides. it cost a little over $3,000.

My only regret is i should have gone a litttle bit smaller.
there are diff approacjhes. Underneath the breasts or vi a the belly button or on the armpits as mine were; so the scar is strategically placed. Underneath the breast is good if you need a breast lift.

I met this Dr via an article on the newspaper written by a staff after losing a lot of weight. I had to stay overnight in the hospital. because this Dr. was being cautious. It could have saved me over $3,000 if it's done in the surgery center where the surgeon has vested interest. This Dr doesn't have any.

Another way to find the Drs is to go to hospitals and inquire re the drs who practice there. Main issue to be concerned here is infection. But i was supplied with antibiotics before and after surgery. Go to the city ... in Atlanta if you are in the suburbs. Good Luck.
Be prepared to ask a lot of questions and express your concerns. A surgeon with a full calendar is usually good. Find one who's kind and doesn't seem harried or impatient. Be specific to what you want don't let the dr con you into getting something else done. That's why i didn't choose the other one plus his offfice was hard to be contacted.

I had liposuction done on my legs years ago. Way before it was the " THING" to do. I would recommend a few things. Check out some of the open houses and free lectures various cosmetic and laser practices offer as their marketing. Absoultely make sure they are board certified in surgery and plastic surgery. Get some referrals to contact former patients. Check out their waiting room to see if it is busy and how peaople are looking. Call your insurance company and see who they cover or recommend in their plan. Call a hospital where you know they perform plastic surgery and get some names. I am very happy that I had it done. Now I can buy pants off the rack that fit. Check with the medical board in your state for any legal issues that may be pending from the doc you are interested in.

Just a few quick things as I head out the door. Good luck and do your homework first.

Don't screw with them!
Natural is best, no matter what the magazine covers look like.
