no, don't trade. S Jackson will have a break-out year this year. St. Louis is focusing more on the run, and Dillon is aways suspect to injury and Porter has hardly any fantasy value.

NO, bad trade. Do not do this! Jerry Porter is in the Oakland doghouse big time and is trying to force a trade. And Dillon is old, with a young stud rookie coming in that I am sure they will want to work in. You should be able to get a better WR/RB combo for Jackson. It will help your cause a little if you make it a 2-for-2 deal; Jackson plus the guy your new WR will be replacing (or some other guy you aren't too concerned about) for a RB and good WR. Good luck!

What are you doing? Steven Jackson is an guarenteed 1st Round RB and he'll produced numbers similar to Faulk in his heyday. This is what I called a risk because here's my reason this trade is unfair:
1) Dillon is past his prime in New England and Brady tends to be more comfortable passing the ball more (he lead the league in Passing Yard last season). Also, rookie Laurence Malroney is not far from getting the starting gig in NE, so Dillon is on a short leash if he doesn't perform well or gets hurt.
2) Jerry Porter was the 10th best when he was being pass-to last season, largely due to Randy Moss being absense from the offense last season, but Moss is ready to bounce back. Porter is asking for a trade and that's not a good way to start the season if he's not traded (he's not even showing up for pre-season camp to start with, which could get worse for Porter in the long run).

Bad trade buddy. Steven Jackson will have a great year with Scott Linehan as the head coach in St. Louis. He is an offensive minded guy, and will find a lot of ways to use him. Corey dillon is old and not as effective as he used to be. Porter could be a good WR, but Aaron brooks limits that potential because he just isn't that good. I bet jackson has 1500 yards this season.

I think it's a fair trade only if 2 things happen:
Dillon stays healthy and Porter plays better than last year.
I really doubt both things will happen, Dillon's getting old and Porter wants out of Oakland. Even if Porter goes to another team, he still has to get used to the new scenery.
It's a gamble either way.
I've got Jackson on my fantasy team along with Ronnie Brown. I think they're both going to have breakout years.
Good Luck

No, Corey Dillon will be hurt by week 7 and Jerry Porter is holding out and demanding to be traded.

Idk in some ways its fair but it is a risk over all. Corey dillon is old but still good and had his worst season of his career last year (hes too talented not to bounce back). Porter is not an outstanding reciever, not something you would die to trade for. Well idk its ur call chief id say dont go threw with the trade cuz its jst a risk. And o yea steven jackson should have a better season this year and he did good last year.

Depends on your needs, of course, but if you need a WR, I'd do it. You won't lose much from Jackson to Dillon, and Porter should have a respectable season ... if he keeps his fool mouth shut and soaks in receptions opposite Randy Moss' double teams, that is.

well timmy, someone is trying to anally rape you on this deal.
Dillon is fine and should still go in the 2nd round of most 10-12 team drafts. I actually think he's going to be better than a lot of people think.
Porter is going in rounds 7-9.
Jackson is a first rounder (picks 7-8 or so).
You cannot hope to be successful by trading away your #1 pick for a #2 and #8 round pick. You wouldn't do that before the draft, so don't do it now.

Well it really depends on the scoring system but personally i wouldn't do it because dillon will be splitting time no matter what with maroney and porter wants out of oakland and i don't trust brooks tossing him the ball. Jackson on the other hand is no longer in faulk's shadow and this will probably be his break out year
