Marriage is like a fine wine, it gets better with age. You younger folks worry too much about things that may never happen, instead of enjoying what's right in front of you.

yes, to have children but to have somone in your life that really know how to talk each other with plm. Knowing that Married not a big thing but it mean that want spend your life with that person. not just married not knowing why you did?
I learn that I broked up with my exgirlfriend and later took me 5 years to have my ex girlfriend back and then after that Got married now it been9 years of marriage and have 2 small children and 3rd due in march 2007 and I do blieve it if you make it marriage not mean to change everything still same if you both are GF and BF only thing is difference is that both have same money account and other stuff smile. and That how I know me married to my wife is sure still worth it.
I know that we will be in love so long no matter what. but depend on people. imporant that two people talk about everything what to do if lie or what to do if cheated or stuff like that. very improant to talk about that before married.

The real answer is it depends.
I married my wife (less than a month now) because we wanted to have a baby together and I wanted to make her an honest woman first. I wanted her to have the benefits of full medical and dental care and I wanted her daughter and my son to have that too. I love her so much I want to take care of her always and that means a marriage is needed.
For you, maybe not so much, but if you are not married there are expenses that will be higher than if you are, medical is only one of them.

yes- for different reasons
I am getting married in September to my one true love- other people have doubted us from day one- now they tell me how they didnt think we'd make it.
i have watched other people fall by the wayside and it gives me such a buzz to be able to stick two fingers up to the rest of the world and as my fiancee says ' me and you against the world'
there is nothing like the feeling that you are both in it for the long run and dont care who knows it thats worth a lot of magic beans if you ask me

Mine was, and is. We were together 3 yrs, then got married, we're celebrating our 7th anniversary in a few days. If you are as close to one another as best friends should be, then yes it is worth it. Wouldn't change anything. And yes we do still fight once in awhile, but that's life.

In marriage you benefit just about as much as you work for it (it's the whole karma you get what you give thing), so whether it's worth it or not, is really entirely up to you.
I can tell you, if you are willing to work for it, you can experience one of the most wonderful, loving, committed relationships that you could ever hope for.
Best wishes

I think getting married is worth it. Marriage is about compromise. The problem in so many marriages today, is that people are not willing to compromise with one another. Everyone wants to have their way and do what they want to do. It is also about forgiveness. You have to forgive people to become a whole person.

It is only worth it if the both you understand the meaning of LOVE, RESPECT, HONESTY & COMMUNICATION.
My husband and I were friends through out high school and started dating in my first year of college (1999). We have been through so much together and have found that our relationship is very strong. We talk all the time about everything, we trust one another with all our hearts, we respect one another and we know what our love is and what it could be.

Try to understand the meaning of marriage first. Every action, including marriage has a purpose. Your perception may be confusing now as you might be comparing with others but think of the time ahead and you may get the right perception.

Depends on the marriage, probably. I have been married to my wife and best friend for 6 years and with her for 10 years.
This may sound cliche, but I thank god every day for my marriage. And, although I have been married long enough to know it is dangerous to speak on your wife's behalf, I am sure she feels the same way.
